The ROMA Senate Group

Membership in the Senate is additionally governed by the "Tabellae Principatus A Senatus A ROMA"

The Curiate Assembly meets at 11:00am SL time on the last Sunday of the month. The ROMA Senate presides over this meeting which also includes ROMA group representatives and ROMA Citizens. This is where issues regarding the estate are discussed.

Membership in the Senate is a privilege, and shall only be accorded to those who are willing to be active participants. This implies regular attendance at Curiate Assembly meetings and an active role in Senate discussions. Failure to participate adequately could result in a Senator's removal, to make room for another candidate. It is understood that real life circumstances may preclude some participation, so some number of explained absences are understood to be acceptable. Additionally, the Senate will make a reasonable attempt to schedule meetings such that most Senators will be able to attend.

Application Process:
Once familiar with the rules of ROMA and of the Senate, an applicant who is willing to commit to being an active participant must answer the following questions in a notecard, and drop it on the Princeps Senatus (Maali Beck) and both of the Censors (Mickey James and Enamabala Towradgi):

  1. Why do you want to be on the Senate?
  2. What strengths can you contribute to the Senate?

Applicants will be presented for questioning before the Senate at an Assembly meeting and voting will occur on the candidacy.
