ROMA is successful because of her Citizens. They bring great passion and energy to the land.

ROMA Citizens hold monthly multi-day festivals, organize charity fund drives, sponsor social events, and socialize happily throughout the land. They are also international in character, coming from all around the real world to enjoy ROMA in Second Life®.

Connect with the community by joining the ROMA Citizens group, the default in-world group for annoucements.

In addition, you might want to join some of the various social, recreation, roleplay, and academic, groups in the estate. These are summarized below:

 


ROMA Groups
Most ROMA groups are open to all Citizens. Some require special admission. Visit the Socialite's Residence in ROMA Urbs (behind the Bread and Circuses Bakery) for more information about joining any group.

ROMA Citizens (SPQR)
This group is the default group for all Citizens. Join this to be kept informed of all ROMA events and developments.

ROMA SPQR LEGIO XIII GEMINA
Legion soldiers have their own fort in the ROMA Transtiberim sim and have an active schedule of activities and events. All recruits receive their own free suit of armor and weaponry. There are many sub-groups within the Legion including those for Amazons, Cavalry, and even Furries.

ROMA Theatrum Romanum (Roleplay Group)
Roleplay is allowed in ROMA as long as it conforms to the roleplay rules established by the Emperor. The Theatrum Romanum group is the default group for all roleplayers. Its officers organize regular roleplay events in ROMA.

The Scribae are the historians of ROMA. They maintain a speical wiki recording the history of the estate and Citizenry. Those interested in libraries and the development of online communities are encouraged to apply.

Every year, the ROMA PRO VITA group raises money for cancer research by sponsoring events in ROMA. This group is an official Relay For Life team, and has raised thousands of US$ for the American Cancer Society in the past.
