All Subura Renter Rules apply to those who rent in the Maritima sim.
These are special plots so please read all of this info carefully:
1. For the most part, these plots will function as Subura plots. Renters will be members of the Subura community, and the Subura group will be used for placing items, etc. All Subura rules and covenants apply on these plots (they must be a Roman build outside, etc)
2. There are two main draws for these plots. The first is that there are no immediate neighbors. This also means that the sea views are plentiful.
3. The second main draw is that there is a prim bonus on the plots. Standard single plots in the Subura offer about 250 prims. Each Isle of the Blessed plot gives 500 prims, double the amount of 1024 sq m in the Subura.
4. ROMA Maritima is a Homestead sim. This means that it runs on a server that supports more servers than normal sims do. This means that sometimes scripts can run slower than normal if they are particularly complicated. These plots therefore are ideal for individuals who do not plan on running a lot of scripts in their home, and will mainly concentrate on prim building. Regular scripts like doors, water features, etc should be fine, but not complex things like games, security orbs, or things dealing with servers and remote communication.
5. Because of the special nature of these plots, they are slightly more expensive than regular Subura plots. The fact that they offer so many prims, no immediate neighbors, and a nice environment is worth it, and it also creates a prestegious address in the ROMA Estate. The cost is $23 US per month.
6. The islands must remain only the size of a single Subura plot to keep the water ways free.
7. In the future, LL may impose script limits upon Homestead sims. We may have to adjust the rental agreements and allow only a certain number of scripts if that occurs.
